About
As a movement educator, I specialize in integrating strength training, injury rehabilitation, functional joint mobility, and therapeutic alignment into yoga instruction with a commitment to empowering students to deepen their body awareness, grow their resilience, and support their healing journey. I see my students as a whole when assessing movement habits that either hinder a movement or a practice. In private sessions, we might use movement breakdowns and drills to build skills in understanding your anatomy. My aim is for you to move better, without pain, and move with confidence, not fear. As a mentor, I teach in teacher training programs to support the next generation of teachers. If you are a current teacher and would like mentorship, without the confines of a costly program, working 1+1 can mean a catered format that works just for your needs.

Yoga really does start from the ground up! Andrea helped me realize that the root of some of my difficulties with certain poses began with my feet. She gave me a better understanding of how to stand to support balancing and knee flexing postures that are difficult for me. I am eager to incorporate this information into my daily practice to improve my lower body flexibility, strength and
